Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Nyzra ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of service

Nyzra is a scam detection tool that uses artificial intelligence to analyse content you submit — including screenshots, photos, text, URLs, and voice descriptions — and provides an assessment of whether the content may be fraudulent, suspicious, or legitimate.

3. Important disclaimer

Nyzra provides AI-generated guidance only. The App does not guarantee the accuracy of any analysis. Results should be treated as helpful guidance, not definitive conclusions. You should:

• Always exercise your own judgement when making financial or personal decisions
• Contact your bank or financial institution directly if you suspect fraud
• Report suspected scams to relevant authorities (e.g., Scamwatch in Australia, FTC in the US)
• Never rely solely on the App's verdict for high-stakes decisions

4. Free and premium tiers

The App offers a free tier with a limited number of scam checks. Premium subscriptions provide unlimited checks and are available as monthly or annual plans.

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Circumvent rate limits, usage restrictions, or security measures
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Submit content that you know to be illegal
• Resell or redistribute the App or its analysis results commercially

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, branding, and AI analysis capabilities, is the intellectual property of Andrew Hingston. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Content you submit

You retain ownership of any content you submit for analysis. By submitting content, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the scam analysis. We do not store your submitted content after the analysis is complete. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the analysis results will be accurate
• We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not responsible for any financial loss resulting from reliance on the App's analysis

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Andrew Hingston from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
